Check-in at the airport

Boarding procedures can be completed at a Self-service check-in machine or a check-in counter.

The deadline for purchasing tickets, checking in, and checking baggage is 20 minutes before departure.
Once you have completed these procedures, please go through security as early as possible so that you can arrive at the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before departure.
Depending on the airport, it may take more than 10 minutes to walk from the security checkpoint to the boarding gate.
If you miss this time, you may not be allowed to board.

1. Baggage check-In

   The deadline for checking baggage is 20 minutes before departure.
   If the airport is busy, check-in may take longer than usual, so please check your baggage well in advance.

2. Security checkpoint

   Please complete all check-in procedures and allow plenty of time to reach the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before departure.
   Depending on the airport, it may take more than 10 minutes to walk from the security checkpoint to the boarding gate.
   If airport staff determine that you will not arrive at the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before departure, you will not be permitted to board, even if you have already checked in.

   We have strengthened the inspection of jackets, shoes, and explosives before boarding aircraft. Due to the enhanced inspections, security checks may take more time, so we kindly ask that you arrive at the airport with ample time.

   From March 10, 2022, it is mandatory, based on the Aviation Act, to undergo a security inspection before boarding an aircraft. If you proceed past the security checkpoint without undergoing the inspection, you may be subject to imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to 500,000 yen.

   Please check your boarding pass for information such as your boarding gate, group number, and seat number.

3. Boarding gate

   Please arrive at the boarding gate at least 10 minutes before the departure time.

     If you are unable to arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure time, you may not be allowed to board even if you have a reservation.

     Electronic devices that transmit radio waves for communication should either be set to a state where they do not emit radio waves or be turned off once the airplane doors are closed.

     Make sure that it is your own boarding pass.

     Once the person ahead has passed through and the door has closed, please hold your boarding pass over the ticket gate reader.

     Follow the instructions on the guidance screen and pass through when the door opens.

   If a seat change notification slip (*) is issued, please collect it and proceed. The slip will be issued in the following cases.

     When the customer's seat is changed due to equipment changes.

     When you hold up the old boarding pass before changing seats.

   Boarding information will not be printed from the new ticket gates.
   Customers who have been using the boarding information as proof of boarding are requested to have a boarding certificate issued.

   Departure time is the time when the plane starfts to move.
