Passengers with infants and young children

You can make a seat reservation at the same time you reserve your ticket.

  If the reservation is 3 days before your boarding date, we will accept a seat reservation after you purchase a ticket, but customers travelling with infants and small children can make a seat reservation before purchase by contacting the SF Call Center (Japan domestic flight reservation and information center).

  There are restrictions with regard to the seats that can be reserved.
  Passengers traveling with infants cannot select the exit row seats for reasons of safety.
  A limited number of oxygen masks in seat rows also prevents you from sitting in the same row as another passenger travelling with an infant.
  Multiple passengers are traveling with infants may select a row in front of or behind each other, or select a seat in the same row with an aisle between them.

  Reserved seats are subject to change without notice due to aircraft changes.

Up to 2 children under 3 years old may accompany each adult.
However, a ticket must be purchased for 1 of the 2 children who will use a child seat to sit by themselves.

  Passengers must bring their own child seat.

Passengers attach and remove the seats by themselves. You will need to purchase a ticket and reserve a seat.
To do so, please contact the SF CALL CENTER (Japan Domestic Flight Reservation and Information Center.
Child seats must meet all of the following product conditions.

• Have holes through which the passenger seat belt buckle (6.5 cm by 6.5 cm square of 2.5 cm thickness) can pass and be tightly bound to the seat.
• Be 44 cm or less wide.
• Be a product that meets any of the standards below:

  Approved by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)

  U.S. FMVSS or FAATS0-C1010b approved, or specifications approval
• 3
  European Union ECE R44/UN R44 approved

Child seats with these safety standards are affixed with a safety standard approval label.

  If you are not permitted to attach a child seat approved by other standards or regulations, we will accept it as checked baggage.

Strollers are available for use up to the boarding gate, and passengers who would like to use one should come to the airport check-in counter during check-in.

  There are a limited number available, and we may not be able to meet your request in some cases. Thank you for your understanding.

Cribs are available for use in-flight. To request one, contact SF Call Center (Japan domestic flight reservation and information center) when you make a reservation.

  There are height and weight limits for children that can use the crib. Note also that there are a limited number available, and we may not be able to meet your request in some cases. Thank you for your understanding.

  The crib can be mounted in front of the first row of seats.

  It can only be used when the seatbelt sign is off.

Passengers will be given priority for boarding the aircraft. Customers who would like to use this service should please come to the boarding gate early.

Cabin attendants will help you prepare milk formula on board. Do not hesitate to ask.
All the restrooms are equipped with a diaper changing table. When you want to change a diaper, please tell a cabin attendant.

We have picture books and original amenities available for small children.
