To better serve our customers, we use email alerts to provide information from the reservation to boarding stage.

Overview of Email Notification Service

What You'll Receive

We will primarily send you emails regarding reservations (including changes and cancellations) and purchases.

We will primarily send you emails regarding your flight and flight operations.

Recipient The email address registered as the "Representative Email Address" at the time of booking
(Only one email address may be registered per booking.)
The email address registered at the time of booking as the "Primary Email Address for Flight and Operational Notifications"
(A separate email address may be registered for each passenger.)
Examples of emails
  • When you make a reservation, change your reservation, or cancel your reservation
  • The day before the payment due date (if payment has not been made)
  • When payment is completed
  • When sending your e-ticket copy
  • When a flight is canceled
  • When you temporarily pause or resume check-in
  • When checking weather conditions
  • When a flight is operating under certain conditions
    (e.g., the possibility of returning to the departure airport or changing the arrival airport)
  • When we are unable to accept your pet in the cargo hold

    We recommend registering an email address associated with a mobile phone or smartphone that you can access while traveling.

    For StarLink members, the email address registered in your member profile will be automatically displayed when you make a reservation after logging in (you can change this during the reservation process).

    Please note that flight status notifications are sent 24 hours a day.

    If a delay or cancellation occurs on the day of your reservation or purchase, the boarding notification email may not be sent.

    If your contact phone number is a mobile phone, we will also send notifications via SMS (Short Message Service).
    Please note that the sender's phone number will be "0570-07-3200," and you cannot reply to this number.
    (For SoftBank customers, the caller ID will display the number "21061" instead of a phone number.)
For Those Seeing Off or Meeting Passengers
Service Details We will notify those seeing off or meeting passengers of the departure and arrival times.
Notifications will be sent after the departure flight takes off and upon arrival.
Recipients The email addresses registered as contacts for "Departure/Arrival Notification Emails" after ticket issuance
(Up to two email addresses may be registered per passenger.)

    If you cancel your reservation or change your flight by a means other than via the Star Flyer official website (SFJ Call Center, check-in counter, etc.), you may not receive flight status emails for your flight or you may receive an emails relating to a flight you will not board. Thank you for your understanding.

How to register arrival and departure notification emails

Please register from the screen that appears after your reservation is complete, or from the screen displaying your reservation details.

If you have set to allow only emails from some addresses, such as with domain specific reception, you may not be able to use the email sending service.
For settings such as reception permission / reception refusal cancellation, contact the provider of the email service you are using.
