Character Limit of Passengers’ Name
When booking a flight on our official website, you can type up to 15 characters as each first and last name.
If you try to type more than 16, an error would be occured like an image as below.
If your (first/last)name has more than 16, please type by 15th letters. No problems for your boarding even your whole name doesn't registered on our passenger name record. In the case you book with a complete false name, we cannot accept your boarding for security reasons. In principle, passenger name should be the same as on your official IDs.
If you would like to get a boarding pass with your full name, please ask an agent in StarFlyer service desk at the airport on your departure date.
