      Regarding Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) for Japan Domestic Flights

      A Passenger Facility Charge is charged at the following Japan domestic flight terminals. This charge is included with the airfare paid when you purchase a ticket to one of the destination airports and which the airline pays the airport operator. Operators of each of these airports allow these fees to maintain a number of facilities passengers use, including the departure and arrival lobbies. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

Applicability

Usage Requirements

May be used by passengers with a “Shareholder’s Benefit Number Guide”.

  • One person can use 1 Shareholder’s Benefit Number to receive a 50% discount off standard adult fare for a one way ticket on 1 route. (A child between the age of 3 and 11 receives a 50% discount on a child fare.)
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with other discount fares.

Reservations

Accepted from the date that ticket reservations and sales start up to boarding time on the boarding date.

Period of validity for shareholder’s benefit

Information on Shareholder's Benefit Number：
June 1 to May 31 of the following year (1 year)or December 1 to November 30 of the following year (1 year)

    Please use benefit numbers printed on Information on Shareholder's Benefit Number for flights during their validity periods.

Purchase Deadline

The earliest of the following will apply

  • 1 11:59 PM on the day after the reservation date
  • 2 24 hours before the departure time
  • * However, in all cases, if the reservation is made within 24 hours of the departure time, the reservation must be purchased immediately.
  • * When issuing tickets for multiple flights that are part of the same trip, the payment deadline is determined based on the first flight.

Registration of shareholder’s benefit number

Please register your shareholder’s benefit number and your registration password either at purchase or after your purchase and prior to check-in. We do not collect “Shareholder’s Benefit Number Guides”.
Keep it somewhere safe even after registration, until you have finished boarding your flight.

Changes

You can change a reservation during the period of validity of your shareholder’s benefit number. However, you cannot change the name and route listed on the ticket.

Ticket expiration date

With reservation: Valid for reserved flights only

Without reservation: On the issue date *1, and 1 year from the day following the issue date

  • * You may board during a period that is within both the valid period listed on the ticket page of the Shareholder’s Benefit Number Guide and the flight ticket.
  • *1 This will be the date of credit card settlement or the date confirms payment by cash.

    • Refunds

    Refund period: Within 30 days as calculated from the day after the period of validity for the ticket ends

    Refunds are subject to the following cancellation charge.

    At or after departure time of reserved flight:

    JPY 500

    At or after departure time of reserved flight:

    Equivalent to 100% of fare
    * Only the Passenger Facility Charge will be refunded.

    Internet reservations and purchases

    Make a reservation using the Shareholder's Benefit Discount. Please register your shareholder’s benefit number and your registration password after your purchase and prior to boarding.

    Restricted number of seats

    There is a limited number of seats on each flight.

    Remarks

    If the fare amount of a purchased ticket differs from the fare amount at the time of boarding, a fare adjustment will be required.

    Cautions

    To change a ticket purchased at standard adult fare to Shareholder's Benefit Discount, you need to first apply for a refund of the purchased ticket and buy a new one at the Shareholder's Benefit Discount. Please be aware that certain fees (refund charges and cancellation charges) will be incurred for the purchased ticket.

    You cannot check-in online if you have not registered your shareholder’s benefit number.
