        Regarding Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) for Japan Domestic Flights

        A Passenger Facility Charge is charged at the following Japan domestic flight terminals. This charge is included with the airfare paid when you purchase a ticket to one of the destination airports and which the airline pays the airport operator. Operators of each of these airports allow these fees to maintain a number of facilities passengers use, including the departure and arrival lobbies. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

    Applicability

    Usage Requirements

    May be used for passengers 65 years old or over.
    Show an official document (medical insurance card, driver’s license, passport, etc.) as proof of that you are 65 years old or over when you purchase a ticket and at check-in. (Originals only)

    Reservations

    Accepted from the date that ticket reservations and sales start up to boarding time on the boarding date.

    Purchase Deadline

    Please purchase your flight ticket within 4 days, including the reservation date.
    However, if you make the reservation between 3 days prior to the boarding date and the boarding date itself, you must purchase it at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time.

    Changes

    Reservations cannot be changed.

  • * You can change your flight to a flight earlier than your reserved flight at the airport of departure on the day of your flight.

    • Ticket expiration date

    Valid only for reserved flights

    Refunds

    Refund period: Within 30 days as calculated from the day after the period of validity for the ticket ends

    Refunds will incur the following cancellation charges and a refund charge of JPY 440 per 1 ticket.

    Haneda - Kitakyushu route / Haneda - Fukuoka route / Haneda - Yamaguchi Ube route / Fukuoka - Sendai route

    Prior to departure time of reserved flight：

    • JPY3,000

    At or after departure time of a reserved flight：

    • JPY6,000

    Haneda - Kansai route / Chubu - Fukuoka route

    Prior to departure time of reserved flight：

    • JPY2,000

    At or after departure time of a reserved flight：

    • JPY4,000
