        Regarding Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) for Japan Domestic Flights

        A Passenger Facility Charge is charged at the following Japan domestic flight terminals. This charge is included with the airfare paid when you purchase a ticket to one of the destination airports and which the airline pays the airport operator. Operators of each of these airports allow these fees to maintain a number of facilities passengers use, including the departure and arrival lobbies. We sincerely appreciate your understanding.

        • 1 Applicability for purchase, changes and refunds is based on the applicability of the ticket purchased and fare used.

    Applicability

    Usage Requirements
    • For use by foreign national customers who hold passports from countries other than Japan only.
    • For use by customers who hold an international flight ticket or international ferry ticket, etc to and from Japan only on flights for the duration of their stay in Japan as a result of using that ticket or ferry ticket.
    • During check-in, always be sure to show your passport and international ticket information for flights, ferry, etc to and from Japan (e-Ticket Itinerary Receipt etc).

    Reservations

    Accepted from the date that ticket reservations and sales start up to one day prior to the boarding date.

    Purchase Deadline

    The earliest of the following will apply

    • 11:59 PM on the day after the reservation date
    • 24 hours before the departure time
    • However, in all cases, if the reservation is made within 24 hours of the departure time, the reservation must be purchased immediately.
    • When issuing tickets for multiple flights that are part of the same trip, the payment deadline is determined based on the first flight.

    Changes

    Reservations cannot be changed. Flights cannot be changed on the day of the flight even if there are empty seats on an earlier flight.

    Refunds

    Refunds are not given at the passenger’s convenience.

    • You might not be able to specify a seat for some periods, routes, or flights.

    Child discount

    There are no discounts for children. (Same as adults)
