Norihiro Moriya, 31, grows mangoes, a well-known tropical fruit, in Yamanashi Prefecture. Despite being a novice farmer, in his third year of cultivation, he has made the most of his past mistakes to greatly increase both harvest volume and sales. It has attracted attention locally and is now used in restaurants and wedding halls. Behind his hard work was his family. Moriya lost his mother when he was in the sixth grade and was raised by his strict father. One of the reasons is that she wants to be recognized by her father. Another reason was his older brother who passed away a year ago. His brother had cerebral palsy and could not speak, so he needed assistance in his daily life. I thought that I might be able to work with my brother at Mango because the work could be subdivided into smaller tasks.... However, his older brother suddenly passed away. Mr. Moriya regretted that he wanted to work with his brother... He started to develop a new product. The 100% juice made from his own mangoes was approved by the chef. The label of the completed juice is designed with the character "Masa," which was taken from his brother. This is the story of a young mango farmer who struggles with his feelings for his late mother, brother, and strict father.
