The population of the Soo district in Kagoshima Prefecture is declining and aging. One of the problems that the elderly face in their daily lives is "shopping. There are many areas where there are no supermarkets or other stores close by, and it is difficult for them to go shopping in remote urban areas due to weakness in their legs or returning their driver's license. For these people, the mobile vending car "Wanpaku Soota-kun-go Junior" has become a welcome presence. It is a "running supermarket" that carries about 300 items, including fresh foods, side dishes, and daily necessities. The staff consists of two women, Ms. Yamashita and Ms. Imanishi. Like a mother and daughter, they are both cheerful, kind, and energetic! When they come to the store, the place they are patrolling comes alive with happy chats and smiles as they shop. We will look at the two people who bring not only products but also smiles and energy, and their interaction with the local people.
